About Vrsi Mulo

One of the greatest natural resources of Municipality of Vrsi is a beautiful and indented coast 34 kilometers long which is dominated by natural coves and hidden beaches. On Vrsi Mulo and Vrsi Zukve parts You can find urban beaches with lighted promenade.

Thanks to natural and climatic conditions, the territory of Vrsi has been inhabited more than 10.000 years, as evidenced by numerous archaeological remains from ancient past. Immigration began in the 7th century A.D. and there on ancient and Roman remains were buildt medieval settlements Jasenovo, Vrsi, Sveti Toma and Seline. The famous Croatian poet Juraj Baraković owned the area in 1586 and it is probably after this line the village got the name Barakovci.
